CENTRAL FLORIDA WOMAN APPOINTED TO WHITE HOUSE BUSINESS ADVISORY COUNCIL

 

Washington D.C. -    Mare Ryan, president of Liberty IRB, a centralized medical review board located in DeLand, FL, has recently been appointed by the National Republican Congressional Committee to serve on the Business Advisory Council.

            The leadership award was presented to Ryan in recognition of the valuable contributions and dedication she has shown in promoting pro-business agenda, particularly in the areas of tax reform and fiscal responsibility. 

            “I feel so honored to have been chosen for this prestigious award,” Ryan said.  “Being a small business owner can be extremely challenging and I am committed to helping them in any way I can.”

She will serve the state of Florida as an honorary chairman and is expected to play a crucial role in the Party’s efforts to involve top business people in the process of government reform.

The Business Advisory Council is part of the National Republican Congressional Committee, and is dedicated to ensuring that small business has a voice in Washington.

Liberty IRB is a certified review board that was founded six years ago and arose out of a need within the medical research community for a centralized review board.  Entirely woman- owned and operated, Liberty IRB maintains its focus on the protection of the rights and welfare of research participants.  Board members receive initial and ongoing education on the protection of human subjects.

            The company is a member of the Consortium of Independent Review Boards (CIRB), which meets with government regulators on issues for the protection of human research subjects.  Liberty IRB is also currently undergoing accreditation with the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP).
